Doug Measures has been a resident of Nottawa since 1977. He is married to Tracey Woolner for 32 years and the couple have two sons, Sam & Joe. He has a wealth of experience working with community groups facilitating access to Local Community Television in Simcoe County. He has mentored and motivated volunteers in all aspects of community television production. Doug has also served on many community committees in Clearview. Doug is the past chair of the Clearview Recreation & Culture Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Clearview Accessibility Advisory Committee. He is an active member of the Nottawa Memorial Community Centre Board working with volunteers to keep the Nottawa Hall active and relevant. Doug was the Chair of the Clearview Small Halls Festival and continues to support the Festival. Doug served on the Clearview Economic Development Committee. He was a director of the Collingwood Chamber of Commerce and served with the Collingwood Sports Hall of Fame board for a few years. He has volunteered in operations and event communications at the Special Olympic World Winter Games and the Paralympic Games. Doug is a member of the Clearview Community Policing Committee as a councillor and prior as a citizen representing the Nottawa area. His professional experience with federal & provincial politicians has kept him connected and respected by his peers at all levels of government. Doug has represented the Township of Clearview on the Collingwood Regional Airport board for 8 years. Doug graduated with Honours in Radio & Television Arts at Seneca College and is graduate of Collingwood Collegiate Institute.

Doug was elected for his third term as Ward 1 Councillor serving Clearview Township.
